Parking & Shuttle Transportation
ArtFest Midwest Free Shuttle
A shuttle will run to/from the Iowa Events Center and 12th & Walnut every half hour.
Street Parking
Street parking is available throughout downtown with the convenience of parking meters. Pay attention to the location and rates as many meters have different time limits and parking restrictions during certain times. Street parking is free on Sundays.
Parking Garages
City parking garages are located throughout downtown with convenient skywalk access to the Iowa Events Center. Payment for city garages is collected each time you enter the garage. The City of Des Moines recently completed a downtown parking signage system to give up to the minute details on where parking is available in the garages.
Iowa Events Center Parking
Parking is available north of the Iowa Events Center with entrances off of the following streets:

5th Avenue

Crocker Street
City-run parking garages are free on Sundays.
Accessible parking is available at the Iowa Events Center by entering the lot south of Crocker Street, next to Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center.
Cost: $10 for cars and trucks. Credit Cards Are Now Accepted.
ATMs
ATMs are located in the Community Choice Main Concourse and HyVee Hall lobbies.
Food
Permanent concessions stands are on site.
Wheelchairs
The Iowa Events Center is wheelchair accessible, however, it does not provide wheelchairs to use during the show.
